As you can see from the earlier posts I like my sleeping bags big and warm. This, unfortunately means a huge packed volume and an equally huge weight.

After having a great experience with the North Face bag in quilt mode I decided to try a down quilt. These seem to be made by the cottage industry, so, after reading reviews I pulled the trigger on an Enlightened Equipment Revelation quilt.

I took off for a few days last week to try it out. The verdict, awesome!

A zero degree bag that packed to the size of a nalgene bottle, has a zip to close the foot box if needed and straps to close up the bags body when its cold. I used it just in quilt mode, it was warm, light and the fabric actually felt nice.

I ordered the long, extra wide option which is a perfect size.

I can recommend this company, great service, great product and great price. If your interested, check them out here.

From bag to quilt.
